Mortgage Delinquency and Home Preservation Services

A-1 Community Housing Services offers confidential one-on-one counseling services for homeowners who are experiencing financial hardship. We understand that our clients worked hard to achieve homeownership and our goal is to help KEEP their home. Service Cost: FREE

Our HUD-certified housing counselor will cover:

Assess client’s current hardship to establish an action plan to help prevent foreclosure

Assist homeowners with preparing documents for loan modification or work out options

Facilitate communication between client and their mortgage servicer

Check mark icon

Provide supportive referrals

If you are currently in foreclosure, with a sale date within the next 30 days, we recommend that you schedule a one-on-one counseling appointment as soon as possible.

Collecting documents and establishing efficient communication with your servicer takes some time; do not delay in getting started with one of our housing counselors!

Next Steps:

  1. Complete and submit your Intake Application along with copies of all required documentation. You can download the forms HERE. Or you are welcome to stop by our office and pick up the application.

  2. Schedule your counseling appointment. Your case will be assigned to a foreclosure prevention counselor who will work with you and help you navigate the process.
